Susan Sewell’s travel career began in 2010 with her appointment as Senior Sales Manager for American Express Global Business Travel.  Her role initially was to attract new corporate clients with a spend of up to £3.5 million per year.  She was promoted to Sales Director, Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland, focusing on brand awareness and strategic growth, in charge of a successful mid-market and telesales team. Her role was extended to deal with the large market team, attracting and handling accounts with annual spend of up to £16 million.

Susan has excellent contacts in business travel, an extensive understanding of technology and its impact on the travel industry and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders at board level.  Her areas of expertise are brand awareness, executive recruitment and headhunting.
