COMPETITIVE SALARY PACKAGE
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced travel team manager to join the growing travel division of a Global Events, Lifestyle and Travel business within their vibrant London office. In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will share your time between London and New York, managing your own team of travel managers. This is a hands-on position, where you’ll utilise your own extensive travel booking and GDS (Galileo or Smartpoint) knowledge. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team, streamlining processes, ensuring that the quality of work is to the highest standard and performance management. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the senior management team on budgets, forecasting and reporting and will collaborate with sales and marketing, identifying new business opportunities, contributing to campaign ideas and representing the company at networking events.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Proven track record of managing a team of travel consultants
*Working knowledge of Smartpoint or Galileo GDS
*Extensive knowledge of booking tools and travel systems
*Good industry knowledge of suppliers and hotels
*Superb communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
*Ability to travel to New York on a regular basis
