Our client, an established London-based travel management company is looking for a business travel professional to join its expanding team. With expertise ranging from business travel, event management, sports tours, group travel to personal holidays, they have tripled in size over the past few years and continue to grow, establishing themselves as a major player in their field.
In this interesting and varied online support role, you will be the go to person for GDS and QC Support, providing 1st and 2nd level support to system users. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the agent desktop including the reservation systems, point of sales scripts and any in-house developed point of sales applications, and internally used web-based booking tools like Evolvi, Trainline and Conferma. You’ll also be providing support for the mid and back office systems. Additionally, you’ll be conducting training sessions with agents, ensuring all user documentation is kept up to date and disseminated as appropriate.
To be considered for this Online Support Consultant position in London, you’ll be an experienced Business Travel Consultant with expert knowledge of Galileo and a keen interest in IT. With an understanding of the basic steps of the troubleshooting process, you’ll be able to install applications and understand error messages. As a whizz on MS Office and a logical problem solver, you’ll be able to take initiative and prioritise your own workload. This is an interactive role; therefore, you’ll have exemplary communication skills, a positive attitude and an approachable manner.
