IT SUPPORT ANALYST
£24 000 PER ANNUM PLUS GREAT BENEFITS
A well-known luxury travel company is looking for an IT Support Analyst in London.
You need to have at least 2 years’ experience providing helpdesk support and supporting end users.
You must be able to troubleshoot and perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, this includes installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications.
You must perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers and peripherals and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of service level agreements and minimum service levels provided to other departments, all while recording, tracking and documenting each request through to it’s resolution or escalating the problem to senior staff or third party suppliers.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO HAVE?
*Recent and relevant IT Helpdesk/Service Desk experience
*Recent experience providing support for MS office Users
*Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products including Windows 7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential
*Strong understanding of Server Operating Systems and Networking including the following: Windows 2008/2012 Server Administration, Exchange Server administration, Active Directory, User Account set up and administration, DHCP, WINS, IIS and basic network troubleshooting including TCP/IP utilities and configurations e.g. DOS troubleshooting commands and utilities
*Good understanding of IT hardware and network software systems including: Dell laptop, Desktop and servers, Apple Mac, PC and notebooks, Hardware such as switches, hubs, MFC Printers, printers, routers, wireless networking products and other peripheral equipment.
*Experience of supporting Photoshop, Adobe CS, Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, MS Vision, MS Project.
*Experience of supporting and administering databases running on database software MS SQL server, Oracle and MS Access.
