GLOBAL TRAVEL APPLICATIONS MANAGER

A leading travel company is looking for a Global Travel Applications Manager in New York City. Here, you will take ownership of the full life cycle of development including resource management, project management, coordination of testing activities and deployment. Part of your role involves the development of conceptual designs for all travel systems, projects, and initiatives. You will be a subject-matter-expert (SME) for travel systems and lead the technical analysis and implementation of application upgrades, system maintenance and program implementations while providing user training, support and application troubleshooting.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
*5 to 7 years of travel industry experience, preferably in a corporate travel service environment
*5 years’ experience deploying online booking tools and profile tools
*3 to 5 years’ experience with international online booking and profile deployments
*Knowledge of Trondent ProFILER
*Expertise and knowledge of the travel industry and business application service providers are essential to this role.
*Knowledge of travel business applications and corporate travel is preferred.
