CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE – TRAVEL INDUSTRY
UP TO £21K PLUS MONTHLY BONUS
As a Customer Service and Operations Executive working for this leading tour operator your responsibilities will include taking enquiries over the phone and email from prospective clients and providing accurate tour quotations and itineraries for both groups and individuals, booking hotels and relevant travel services as required. You’ll complete administrative tasks including sending accurate client documents prior to travel, issuing sales invoices and checking supplier invoices as well as maintaining excellent customer service throughout with clients and suppliers. You will also be involved with devising new and interesting itineraries, developing new products to offer to clients and keeping up to date with the latest developments in the marketplace which will involve attending training courses, fam trips and trade fairs.

What experience do I need?
*Strong numerical and administration skills
*At least 1 year’s experience working in the travel and tourism industry is essential
*Be a professional communicator; verbally and written
*Great attention to detail and accuracy with strong organisational skills
*Able to work to timescales
*Accustomed to working in a busy office environment
*Excellent customer service skills
*Enthusiastic and positive manner, able to work effectively in a team
What’s in it for me?
You’ll benefit from a basic salary up to £21K plus monthly bonus as well as Monday to Friday hours on a flexible shift basis between 8:30am and 5pm. No weekends or bank holidays. This is a full time, permanent position.
